Life and Work of Abraham H. Maslow
Abraham H. Maslow was one of the authors that investigated the most human motivations in general, being his main contribution for management the definition and hierarchy of the human needs that originate his action. It’s with these investigations of Maslow that is placed a definitive end in the idea that the man is moved simply by needs such as money or physical comfort.
Abraham H. Maslow’s theory can be divided in two distinct parts: one in which are ranked in a pyramid the human needs (known as Maslow’s Pyramid) and another in which is postulate the dynamism by which arise the motivations to satisfy the needs.
His main work is “Motivation and Personality” published in 1954.
